45th Artevento Cervia International Kite FestivalSpring in Cervia bursts into color with the return of **Artevento**, the renowned Kite Festival, celebrating its **45th edition** with a rich program of events, performances, and international guests. From **April 19 to May 4, 2025**, the beach of **Pinarella di Cervia** will become the stage for a festival that blends art, culture, and tradition, delivering a strong message of peace and environmental protection.

An Unprecedented Event

The 2025 edition of Artevento will feature **special celebrations** and an extended duration, with activities kicking off as early as the **Easter weekend**. The festival will pay tribute to the **80th anniversary of the Liberation**, bringing together over **200 guests from 50 countries**, ready to paint the sky of Cervia with artistic, ethnic, historical, and sport kites.
One of the must-attend events of this edition is the exhibition and workshops by Indonesian master Kadek Armika, taking place from April 19 to 21 at the Magazzino del Sale, officially inaugurating the festival with a showcase dedicated to wind art and environmental sustainability.

A Festival of Art, Culture, and Inclusion

Under the artistic direction of **Caterina Capelli**, Artevento 2025 reaffirms its role as a crossroads of cultures and traditions, with a special focus on Eastern delegations. **Indonesia will be the guest of honor** at this special edition, with the participation of artists and kite flyers from Cambodia, China, Korea, Japan, India, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Thailand, and Vietnam.
The festival is not just a visual spectacle but also an opportunity to reflect on key contemporary issues such as inclusion, peace, and biodiversity conservation. In addition to kites, dancers, acrobats, circus artists, and musicians will perform along the beach, offering the audience a unique multidisciplinary experience.

New Features of the 2025 Edition

Among the new initiatives of Artevento 2025 are:

  • A seaside seafood restaurant, celebrating the local fishing traditions of the Upper Adriatic with the authentic flavors of Romagna.
  • Events dedicated to young people, featuring music, theater, and contemporary circus workshops open to the public.
  • Creative workshops for children and adults, including the “Club Kintaro,” where participants can learn to build kites with international artists.

The Easter Weekend: A Must-See Preview

From **April 19 to 21**, the Magazzino del Sale will host the **”Artists Between Sky and Earth”** exhibition, featuring the European premiere of the complete works of **Kadek Armika**. His sculptures and installations, inspired by the plant world and plastic recycling, will offer visitors a fascinating journey into wind art. During the Easter weekend, visitors will also have the opportunity to participate in **kite-making workshops** led by renowned international experts.
